When can I check in and out?

Check-in is possible from 14:00. On the day of departure, we ask our guests to vacate the room by 10:00 am. Payment can be made the day before.


Where is the hotel located?

The Hotel Garni Zerza is located in Tröpolach - at Nassfeld in Carinthia. If you are coming from Hermagor on the B111, you will find us directly at the entrance to the village on the right-hand side. 

If you are coming from Kötschach-Mauthen, drive through Tröpolach. Our hotel is located after the gas station on the left-hand side.

Do I have to pay a deposit?

Yes, a deposit of € 200.00 is required to guarantee your booking.


Which payment methods are accepted on site?

You can pay with cash, VISA, MasterCard or Maestro.

What cancellation conditions apply?

The General Terms and Conditions for the Hotel Industry in Austria apply.

  • Cancellation is free of charge up to 3 months before arrival.
  • Up to 1 month before arrival, a cancellation fee of 40% will be charged.
  • Up to 1 week before arrival 70 %.
  • In the last week before arrival 90 % of the booking value.

Cancellations must be made in writing.


Is there a supermarket nearby?

Yes, there is a small supermarket and a bakery just a few minutes' walk away. Larger shopping facilities are about a 10-minute drive away.


Are children welcome in the hotel?

Yes, children are very welcome here. There is a large playground in front of the house.


What services are included in the price?

The price includes a regional breakfast buffet, use of the sauna area (on request in summer - daily in winter), a lockable garage for motorcycles and bicycles, a washing and repair corner, as well as the +Card Holiday in summer.

When is breakfast served?

Our breakfast buffet is available daily from 07:00 to 10:00.

We offer a rich self-service buffet with a large selection of regional and fresh products.

Are there vegan, vegetarian or gluten-free options at breakfast?

We are happy to cater to your individual dietary requirements on request.


Can I have dinner at the hotel?

There are two restaurants in the village, which can be reached on foot in a few minutes.

For small snacks we recommend Andi's Bar, where our guests receive a 10% discount.


Is the hotel barrier-free?

Our hotel is currently not barrier-free. A barrier-free room and an elevator will be available from 2026.

Is there free WLAN?

Yes, free WLAN is available in all rooms and public areas.


Do the rooms have air conditioning?

No, our rooms are not air-conditioned.


What parking options are there?

Free outdoor parking is available in front of the hotel. Covered parking spaces are available for a fee of € 4 per day.


Are pets allowed?

Dogs are allowed in certain rooms by prior arrangement.

We reserve the right to charge for final cleaning if required. Dogs are not permitted in the breakfast area.


Is there a wellness area?

Yes, our wellness area includes a Finnish sauna, a steam bath, a tepidarium and an infrared cabin.

Are there storage facilities for sports equipment?

A ski room with heated ski boot dryers is available for your ski equipment. There is a ski depot near the gondola station for a fee.

Bicycles can be safely parked in a locked garage.
