Where is the hotel located?
The Hotel Garni Zerza is located in Tröpolach - at Nassfeld in Carinthia. If you are coming from Hermagor on the B111, you will find us directly at the entrance to the village on the right-hand side.
If you are coming from Kötschach-Mauthen, drive through Tröpolach. Our hotel is located after the gas station on the left-hand side.

Is the region suitable for families with children?
Yes, the region is ideal for families - with action, nature, culture and relaxation for all ages and in all weathers.
Is there a guest card?
In summer, our guests receive the +Card Holiday free of charge. This card allows free or discounted use of many attractions in the region.
Is the region suitable for hiking or cycling?
Absolutely! Over 1,000 km of hiking trails and around 950 km of mountain bike trails lead through the Carnic and Gailtal Alps - including across the border to Italy.
Which lakes are nearby?
Lake Pressegger See is around 15 km away and Lake Weissensee around 30 km.

Where can you eat out in the region?
There are two inns in the village of Tröpolach, which can be reached on foot in just a few minutes.
For small snacks we recommend Andi's Bar, where our guests receive a 10% discount.
Can you go cross-country skiing in the region?
Yes, part of the region's extensive network of cross-country ski trails with a total of over 130 km starts right at the hotel. There is a Nordic Competence Center with a biathlon facility at Nassfeld.
There are further cross-country ski trails in the Lesachtal valley and on Lake Weissensee.
Which ski resorts are nearby?
Tröpolach is located directly on the Nassfeld - Carinthia's largest ski area with 110 kilometers of slopes. The valley station is just an 8-minute walk from the hotel.
Other smaller ski areas are located in Weissbriach, on Lake Weissensee and in Kötschach-Mauthen.

Is there a ski school in the area?
Yes, there are three ski schools in the region - one in the valley, two on the mountain.
Can I buy ski passes directly at the hotel?
Yes, ski passes valid for 1.5 days or more are available at the hotel against cash payment and at a reduced rate.
