Active vacation at Nassfeld
During a winter vacation at Hotel Garni Zerza you can get really active. Away from the ski slopes, there is plenty to experience in the Nassfeld region. How about a hike through the snow? Or would you prefer to whizz down the mountain on a toboggan? No problem at all!
Tobogganing
On your marks, get set, go! In the neighboring village and only 18 minutes away by car, the Guggenberg toboggan run in Hermagorawaits you and your family. There is a toboggan rental service on site at Hotel Schloss Lerchenhof in Untermöschach, where you can equip yourself for tobogganing fun. You will then be taken to the Guggenberg with the shuttle service and off you go. You can also reach the start of the toboggan run on a 30-minute walk. Then all you have to do is tighten your legs, hold on to the reins and toboggan down the mountain. Tobogganing is not only great fun during the day, on the Guggenberg you can also toboggan every day at night.

Cross-country skiing
Enjoy a unique cross-country skiing experience during your stay at the Hotel Garni Zerza! The regional network of cross-country ski trails in the Nassfeld region stretches over 130 km in total. Of these, 5 trails are located in the Nassfeld-Pressegger See cross-country skiing center in the valley and on the mountain. An incredible offer, where there is something for every cross-country skier.
Just a few meters from the hotel, there is a cross-country ski trail that you can access directly. If you don't have any equipment at home, you can hire it easily and simply on site at the Nordic Competence Center Tröpolach and the cross-country skiing fun can begin.
Ice skating
In winter, Lake Presseggersee is covered in ice. It's time to get your skates out and onto the ice! A total of 55 hectares of ice on the lake are at your disposal. There's plenty of space and you can skate around the ice in a relaxed manner. Skate hire and changing facilities are available directly on site.
Lake Weissensee , around 30 km away, also freezes over completely in winter and is the perfect place for all ice sports enthusiasts. The lake has 25 km of ice skating rinksand a 400 m track for speed skaters.
